This book, in pdf form, is taken directly from the workshops I have done on the Traditional Knitting and the EZasPi yahoo groups.
This is very much a 'How To' book. It takes you in stages from your first ‘yarn over’ to knitting with cobweb yarn and designing your own shawls etc. It includes specifically Shetland stuff - like a bit about the history of Shetland lace - and general lace stuff - like tips on how to knit with thick needles and thin yarn, how to chart lace etc. It also has a detailed section on recovering mistakes!! It includes projects like scarves, bookmarks and miniature shawls. It runs to 48 A4/ pages plus another 12 pages of hints and tips from the EZasPi group.
